Care and support in a residential setting

Options include going to a care home; buying or renting another home; or sharing your home with someone else. If these services provide personal care or treatment, they must be registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC). Find Me Good Care lists all services registered with CQC. We are building up our list of other residential options.

Care and support in my home

Many care and support services can help you to live independently at home. If they deliver personal care (e.g. washing or dressing), then they must be registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC). All of these services are listed on this website. Other services such as companionship services, gardening or hairdressing, do not have to be registered with CQC. We are building up a list of these services.

Care and support in the community

Many community based services can help you to live independently and maintain your lifestyle. Many of these services do not provide personal care, so they do not have to be registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC). We are building up our list of these types of services.
